Infinity Ward Equal Platforms?

I was watching a video of an interview with someone from Infinity Ward and a certain quote came up that really made me start to think…
“We don’t do lead platforms, we give equal love to every platform. We go for the equal playing experience across the board… the gameplay, the experience, the story it’s universal.” start the video at 8:14 and see what I am talking about.
So in the end, it is equal to give Xbox their maps weeks before the Playstation gets them?

2 things. 1.i think he just means that everything is the same on all systems, theres no variations and it might be ps3 that takes longer to release the maps because of how its loaded onto the system unless you saw somewhere that the maps were given to sony later. just a guess tho
2.do you have to pay for the new map packs or are they free on ps3 because its like 10$ or so per map pack on xbox

Well the xbox will be getting maps around 2 weeks before playstation will be but I’m over all that now that I’m getting the game tonight. Hope you have fun with it and don’t forget to destroy the compition online : P and leave no mercy! Happy hunting : ) To all!
